Wallover Oil Company receives state workplace safety grant

Strongsville, Ohio…State Rep. Mike Dovilla (R-Berea) announced that the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation has awarded several Cuyahoga County businesses Workplace Safety Grants in an effort to help Ohio employers establish best practices for illness and injury prevention.

Wallover Oil Company, a Strongsville manufacturer of industrial lubricants was awarded $40,000 for a bulk bag unloader and pneumatic conveying system to reduce the risk of injury from manual material handling, slips/trips/falls, and exposure to dust as employees empty bags of product into 2,000-pound capacity blenders.

"I am pleased the Bureau of Workers' Compensatioln was able to see the commitment Wallover Oil Company has made to workplace safety," said Dovilla. "Small businesses like this, which are dedicated to their workers and our communities, serve as examples of why it is important we encouage local entrepreneurs to invest their resources in this region."
